With over 4,000 colleges and universities in the United States, the task of finding the perfect fit for a student may seem like looking for a needle in a haystack. Some schools may be strong in the major a student wants to pursue, some may have smaller class sizes that could benefit the student, others may provide an environment better suited to the personality of the student. Some colleges can offer stronger financial packages to the student they wish to attract. Often private schools may offer a more beneficial academic program for a student at a cost lower than at a public college.
